ATI has officially unveiled its new graphics processors Radeon X800, X600 and X300 that support PCI Express (recall that the X800 version with AGP support was already presented at the beginning of May).

ATI also unveiled a GPU version for Mobility X600 notebooks. The latter, like the “desktop” versions of the X800, X600 and X300, also supports the PCI Express interface.
In addition to PCI Express support, the Mobility X600 is interesting in that it uses a special LTRC (LCD Time Response Compensation) technology designed to reduce the impact of latency and improve the quality of information display on the LCD. Additionally, the new graphics processor for notebooks uses PowerPlay 5 technologies.0 and Vari-Bright (adjustable brightness and contrast depending on the type of display).
But perhaps the most unusual feature of the Mobility X600 is its integration with 64 or 128 MB of graphics memory. Graphics processors are manufactured using MCP (Multi-Chip Package) technology, which, in general, is no longer a rarity (for example, IBM processors and Samsung flash memory are produced using a similar technology).
Notebook graphics will be shipped in Advanced eXpress I / O Modules (AXIOM) designed with the MRX600 in mind.
