It looks like not everyone is happy with the current balance of power in the inkjet market. At least, Canon is clearly not satisfied with it, since today the company’s management announced plans to make additional investments in the amount of about ?10 billion. The investment, according to Canon, will be spent on the construction of a new factory within the existing infrastructure in Fukushima Prefecture (north of Tokyo), in Vietnam, plus the strengthening of the factory in Thailand, which is currently working almost to the limit.
