Microsoft: Important Fix for Windows Media Player
Microsoft has released a new fix for its media players – Windows Media Player (all versions).
When a content user creates an audio or video stream, they can add script commands (such as URL script commands and custom script commands) that need to be encoded in the stream. When the stream is playing, script commands can fire events in the embedded player program, or open a browser window and navigate to a web page. This update changes how Windows Media Player handles scripting URLs that are embedded in a stream.
