The first appearance of ATI Radeon X800 to the people

Journalists from all over the world left NVIDIA’s creations alone for a while and switched to a more topical topic – the upcoming announcement of a new generation of graphics cards from ATI. Rumors, guesses and just fictions about the characteristics of the new family of Radeon X800 chips are pouring from the pages of network printing. At the same time, many find themselves in a rather awkward position: they would like to write something, the topic is live, but they do not want to “chat” in vain after others, since there are NDA conditions.

Today we will not rewrite the bones of the yet unannounced ATI chips, we will just present a very curious photo from the Taiwanese OS site.com.tw. According to our colleagues, the photo shows a card based on an unannounced Radeon X800 (or Radeon X800 Pro?). As you can see, the design and layout are very similar to the current options on the Radeon 9800XT chip, therefore, we will not insist on the reliability of the photo. Let’s just say: new items based on Radeon X800 may well look like this, why not. 😉
