Seven new graphics cards on the Radeon X 800
Several days after the official announcement of the new ATI Radeon X 800 graphics chip, several graphics adapters from a number of manufacturers have been introduced. We considered it prudent to bring together the information on the main novelties. So let’s start with the Club3D graphics adapter.
As in the case of the previously mentioned ASUS, the board will be available in two versions, on the X800 PRO and X800 XT. Recall that in these two versions, the clock frequencies of the chip (475 and 520 MHz, respectively) and memory (DDR 450 and 560 MHz or 900 and 1120 MHz, respectively) differ.
Similarly, there will be two variants of Sapphire’s board, both equipped with 256 MB of video memory.
But Tul Corporation (formerly known as CP Technology, aka Powercolor) decided for itself that one option would be enough – based on ATI Radeon X800 PRO. In the Russian market, products will be represented by 3 Logic, Atlantic Computers, Dealine, Niagara Computers and OLDI.
Finally, GeCube decided to be original: if the majority of competitors presented motherboards based on X800 PRO and X800 XT, then the company also presented two versions, but on the same chip: Radeon X800 PRO and Radeon X800 PRO CSCZ Limited Edition (pictured).
