Delkin Devices Announces Expansion
eFilm PRO Card line of flash cards, introducing eFilm Secure Digital (SD) SD cards
PRO Card. The first samples of cards of this type have a capacity of 256 and 512 MB, release
1 GB cards planned for the second quarter of this year. According to experts,
these media can become one of the highest speed flash memory cards of its
type on the market.

As noted in the press release, the data transfer speed of the cards can reach
10 Mbps. 512 MB card can store up to 4 hours 20 minutes of video in MPEG-4 format,
4 hours of music in MP3 format (at 128 Kbps) or 1,041 photos in format
JPEG with a resolution of 1600×1200 pixels.

Simultaneously with the announcement of these cards, the company announced the expansion of the line of cards
eFilm CompactFlash (CF) PRO, designed primarily for professional
photographers. Until now, the line was represented by models with a capacity
128, 256, 320, 512 MB and 640 MB. Now this range has been replenished with 1 and 2 GB versions
carriers.

The manufacturer’s suggested retail prices for eFilm PRO flash cards are:
about $ 300 for a 512 MB SD PRO, about $ 130 for a 256 MB version of the card;
about $ 650 for a 2GB CompactFlash and about $ 340 for a 1GB model.
