Canon announces new CanoScan 5200F with 2400x4800dpi, 48-bit color depth and targeting entry-level and mid-range scanners.

The CanoScan 5200F is equipped with a USB 2 interface.0 and a film adapter that can scan up to six 35mm negatives or up to four slides simultaneously. FARE Level 2 technology is used to reduce distortion caused by surface damage of the scanned media.
