Who is Dunryd Row. Where is Dunryd Row. What is Dunryd Row. Is it a place, town????? Have already played through the game once. World memory market: on the eve of rising prices for DDR SDRAM?

Over the past 24 hours, the situation on the DRAM market has not changed dramatically:
the number of offers and requests did not change, resulting in a price of 256
Mbit of the DDR SDRAM chip changed minimally: + 0.42%. Circulating rumors
that the contract prices for memory in the second half of February will not decrease,
suggest an increase in the number of transactions in the near future.
In the SDR SDRAM sector, it seems that supply and demand have balanced, as with
the beginning of the week, the price does not change, however, the limited supply of microcircuits of this
like the spot market keeps prices high.

Judging by the above table of prices on one of the exchanges (the situation is similar practically
throughout the Asian region), in general, prices are stable, and the ongoing small
changes are the result of the activity of traders speculatively buying up microcircuits
and memory modules are short-lived and cannot be considered
as a general trend of market development. Markers price, 32Mx8 DDR266 / 333/400 Hynix,
fluctuates around $ 4.05 / $ 4.12 / $ 4.45, which also indicates the absence of
market prevailing behaviors. On the other hand, this proves that
traders are optimistic about developments in the brandname memory sector,
however, the question remains how much other factors will contribute to growth
prices.

It can be assumed that the stability of prices in the world market observed today
day, is also a consequence of the realignment of capacities by manufacturers
memory – “repurposing” part of the lines for the release of NAND-flash led
to a decrease in the release of DRAM chips, which means as soon as messages begin to arrive
on an increase in the supply of NAND-flash chips to the spot market, it is worth waiting for an increase
DDR SDRAM prices. Let me explain: an increase in the supply of NAND flash chips will mean
the beginning of the mass production of chips of this type of memory by manufacturers; if consider,
that it takes an average of 2 weeks to re-equip the lines, then with an increase in the flow
NAND flash in the spot markets will increase the number of speculative transactions (currently
time is moderate), and a couple of days after that the increased optimism of traders
will lead to an increase in the number of transactions, which will support the rise in prices. On the other hand,
It will be very difficult for manufacturers to determine the real demand for NAND flash, so
they will proceed from the minimum forecasts, which means with a high degree of probability
we can say that there will be no oversaturation of this market until the end of February. I.e,
even if manufacturers overestimate demand, in such a situation in the DRAM market
there will be a two-week rise in prices.

DRAMeXchange analysts make another hypothesis explaining the current
market situation: in addition to increasing the release of NAND flash, some vendors
memory began pilot production of DDR2 SDRAM and 512 Mbit DDR SDRAM chips.

What else indicates the likelihood of an increase in prices for DDR SDRAM? First, there appeared
rumors that memory vendors have stopped dumping memory on the spot market,
reserved by PC OEMs; secondly, the supply of untested
chips on the spot market are minimal, which implies an increase in prices for brandname memory;
third, a massive dump on the spot market of chips (on February 9, when prices fell
by 3-5%) stopped by some traders; fourth, unusually tall for
February, the demand for memory by PC manufacturers (this, in addition, could mean
and increasing the amount of memory installed in systems).

By the way, the last factor is the demand for memory from PC OEMs,
it is necessary to take into account when determining the prospects for the formation of contract prices
for the rest of the month. While memory providers are not sure about the duration of demand,
there will be no sharp increase in contract prices – despite the fact that now spot
prices exceed contractual ones, so that in the second half of February, changes in contractual
prices can range from 0 to 3% ? depending on the strength and duration of demand
PC manufacturers.

For the next week, the forecast of price changes in the spot market (according to estimates
DRAMeXchange) is as follows: 256 Mbit SDR SDRAM – growth, 256 Mbit DDR266 / 333 chips
SDRAM – no changes, DDR400 – growth.
